There’s a new addition to the Baltimore skyline! A 26-foot-tall glowing red heart that overlooks East Baltimore.  The beaming symbol belongs to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Maryland, which opened its brand-new location in the historic Jonestown neighborhood Tuesday, May 14th. 
The new house will allow RMHC to expand its mission of providing a home away from home to families with seriously ill or injured children by accommodating 2,400 families annually, more than doubling the occupancy of the previous house on West Lexington Street. 
To ensure that access and opportunity to play sport existed for the community, visitors to the UA House and guests of RMH, Under Armour supported the refurbishment of McKim Park (which sits next door to the house). The new grounds now include a new basketball court, state-of-the-art playground, and green space! #LoveAllAthletes #CelebrateTheWins #LifeAtUA
