Do not forget whose child you are. Where you came from. Never forget your worth. As an athlete (or anyone with a job for that matter), it’s easy attach your value as a human being and sense of identity to how you perform on the court/field/ring etc. Do not fall into that trap. Win or lose, fail or succeed, it’s all temporary; it doesn’t define you. How you respond does :) Just as you shouldn’t become big-headed through wins, losses should not break your will to fight on.
