## Caption

Words feel small compared to what this game and journey has meant to me but I’m closing this chapter with nothing but gratitude! This sport truly raised me, it broke me, rebuilt me and taught me strength I didn’t know I had. From the little 8 year old girl who fell in love with volleyball to the woman who put on this jersey for the last time… thank you.

This journey would not have been the same without every single one of my teammates, coaches, trainers, family and friends! To the group this year, you made this experience absolutely everything! You have all shaped me, challenged me, lifted me, and loved me through every high and low.

To the adversity with the injuries, surgeries, and setbacks that took pieces of me I wasn’t sure I’d ever get back… thank you. Those moments broke me in ways I didn’t know were possible, and there were days I wondered if I should keep going. But they also taught me resilience, patience, and a kind of strength that only comes from fighting your way back. As painful as it all was, I’m grateful I went through it, because it made getting to play this last season one of the greatest gifts of my life.

And to Long Beach volleyball, you gave me a home, a family, and a version of myself I never would’ve become without it. My collegiate career may be ending, but the memories, lessons, and people will stay with me long after the final point. Not sure what the future holds, but I’m excited for this next chapter! Forever grateful for this game, this place and the people.
