“#WakeDebate finished 3rd at the National Debate Tournament (NDT)! Nae Edwards (‘21) and Roberto Fernandez (‘21) worked hard, spoke fast and stayed true to what they love about debate. They embraced and motivated the support of the entire Wake Debate squad to live out our philosophy, ‘If one team is in, we are all still in!’ This was the furthest any pair of sophomores has ever made it in Wake #Debate history. These two have been phenomenal members of the squad in all respects not only in accolades but in leadership beyond their years.
