Adam Slivon offers his Top 10 Takeaways going over the #Bucs 20-17 loss to the #Dolphins in Week 17. Slivon shares just how Tampa Bay fell, the team's seventh loss in eight games. After having everything in front of them for the past two months, they failed to emerge victorious, lacking the necessary life and energy. That was on every unit, Slivon opines, with the offense, defense, and special teams falling short of expectations at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Baker Mayfield had 346 passing yards and two touchdowns, but his two interceptions were costly and held the team back from scoring more points. A serious conversation looms about extending him this offseason with his struggles over the past 10 games. The run game also failed to get going, with Slivon noting Josh Grizzard's overcorrection to sling it and not finding the balance he has long desired. 

Defensively, it was more of the same, as Todd Bowles' defense failed to hold up against a rookie quarterback in Quinn Ewers, making his second career NFL start. Playing without his top two wide receivers, Ewers found holes in the scheme, while De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright ran all over.

Even with all of this being said, the Bucs still have a chance to win the NFC South. Can you believe it?! It all comes down to beating the Panthers in a Week 18 matchup on Saturday afternoon, and then seeing the Saints defeat the Falcons on Sunday. The outcomes of those games will serve as a final verdict on the team's hopes and perhaps signal Bowles' last game as head coach.
