I’m arriving a little bruised.
A little quieter than I thought I’d be.
Carrying grief I didn’t schedule, lessons I didn’t ask for, and a tenderness that still surprises me.

I’m not bringing you a polished version of myself.
I’m bringing you the real one.

The one who believes a song can still save a day.
The one who knows music can hold people when words fall apart.
The one who has been broken open enough to finally listen.

This year taught me that survival isn’t loud.
It looks like showing up anyway.
It looks like choosing softness when the world rewards armor.
It looks like trusting that making something honest is still an act of faith.

So here I am.
Not healed.
But hopeful.
Still writing.
Still singing.
Still believing that art can be a home when everything else feels uncertain.
