Lake City- absolutely loved visiting here in June. This mountain town is getting more popular for its cute downtown area, hiking and of course the famous bridge. Loved staying at alpinevillagecabins. Photos are sierraoliviaphoto- check her out for family photos, engagement, weddings etc! 2. Cross country skiing to yurts and dinner tennpassco. We did this in February and really loved this experience, although XC is not easy πŸ˜… it was so fun to stay in the yurt and then go to dinner at the cookhouse. Highly recommend! 3. Backpack at Great Sand Dunes National Park- honestly just learned this year you can do this. You do need a permit. Warning: sand will be everywhere but it was a fun experience! 4. Vail is known for the winter but I honestly loved so much visiting in the summer! This was in August and it was just so nice to walk the village, try some great food at glovailco, avanti_vail on the patio (which is dog friendly), chasingrabbitsvail and whiskey at 10thmtnwhiskey. Loved staying at thelodgeatvail and feeding the goats vailstables and the hiking with alpacas with paragonguides πŸ¦™ 🐐 5. Georgetown has always been a place we drive through or we have hiked in the area but never have stayed.
