Toys R Us’ expansion will include returning a stand-alone store to Long Island this year, as the brand’s owner focuses on growing the iconic retailer after its demise several years ago.

Toys R Us will be adding 10 permanent stores in New York, and seven other states in time for the holiday season, according to a statement from the retailer.
