My husband did not want a third baby. We tabled any discussion of it for a year. Months before I brought it back up I started praying. Not for a third baby, but that God’s will be done. It was one of the scarier prayers I’ve ever prayed. I deeply desired another baby but I had to be ready to accept that maybe this wasn’t His will for whatever reason. I remember bringing it back up to my husband and it felt like the door had been slightly left open. I felt small shift in his heart and 4 months later, we were pregnant.
