Today marks one year since congestion pricing took effect in Manhattan.

The MTA says in its first year, congestion pricing resulted in 27 million fewer vehicles entering the Congestion Relief Zone of Manhattan south of 60th St, an 11 percent reduction in traffic.

Commuters we spoke to say they’ve changed their driving habits to save money, while some locals continue to criticize the program.
