❗️Adrian Newey’s final parting gift to Red Bull has been unveiled in its ultimate form, promising performance that rivals modern Formula 1 machinery.

The production-spec “v2.0” of the RB17 hypercar showcases significant evolutions from its original concept.

The updated exterior now sports a distinct “face” with hockey-stick LED headlights and a massive “sailfish” fin on the engine cover for high-speed stability.

Before departing for Aston Martin, Newey mandated a complex engineering shift that moved the exhaust to the car’s spine to optimize thermal and aerodynamic flow.

At the heart of this beast lies a bespoke 4.5-liter naturally aspirated Cosworth V10 that screams to a dizzying 15,000 rpm.

This combustion engine is paired with a 200bhp electric motor to deliver a combined 1,200 horsepower while handling reverse gear and torque-filling during shifts.

The cabin strictly rejects touchscreens in favor of physical controls, acknowledging that operating digital displays is impossible while pulling 5G in corners.

Practical adjustments for the 50 lucky owners include the addition of side mirrors, a wiper, and front-hinged butterfly doors for easier entry.

With prototypes currently enduring torture tests, the car is scheduled to make its public debut at Grand Prix events this summer before production begins next spring.

Considering this is the last car Newey penned for Red Bull, do you think his upcoming work at Aston Martin can possibly eclipse this engineering masterpiece?

What are your thoughts? 🤔💭
