“It was a great learning experience getting to work behind the scenes as I got to see some of the principles learned in class be used in a professional sports setting.” - Marissa Alvarez

It’s not every day that you get to work a historic event in the world of MMA but thanks to our alumni, two of our current students, Marissa Alvarez 24’ and Laurent Lefebvre 23’ got the special treatment.

They both had the opportunity to work the Bellator MMA 290 event this past weekend as part of a volunteering opportunity that was presented by Sport Management alumni and currrent Bellator MMA Marketing Manager, Mario Hirose.

Our students have access to some pretty cool alumni. 😉
