The sanjosesharks are set to retire their second number in franchise history! This time Jumbo Joe Thornton gets his flowers (and deservedly so). Just as I did for the Marleau announcement here’s a banner concept for Jumbo’s big day. Some of my favorite players as a kid are now going to be side by side in the rafters. Isn’t it crazy how time flies?
