Our maintenance team is built different. 😤❄️ 
 
It feels like -23°C tonight, and our team is flooding the entire length of the Rideau Canal Skateway again. All hands are on deck.  
 
The team uses pumps to draw water onto the ice surface. We need thick, good-quality ice to open the Skateway safely, and this process helps build up the ice thickness more quickly.

La température ressentie de -23°C ce soir et notre brave équipe arrose la patinoire du canal Rideau sur toute sa longueur. 😤❄️ 
  
L’équipe utilise des pompes pour aspirer l’eau sur la surface de la glace. Nous avons besoin d’une glace de grande qualité pour ouvrir la patinoire en toute sécurité et cela contribue à épaissir la glace plus rapidement.
