Another twist for 2026 🔀 

Olympic 200m Champion Gabby Thomas has confirmed that she will shift some more focus towards the 400m in an interview with the Marathon Handbook.

The American star, whose one-lap PB sits at 49.14, said, "Part of it is I really value having a long career, and I think it's something to be said for that kind of training I think it allows you to have a longer career."

"I've been enjoying the training, I've taken this off-season to really just love running and have fun with it."
