📍 Yemeni government forces, backed by the international Saudi-led coalition, have reasserted control over key areas in eastern and southern Yemen following the dissolution of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)

➡️ The STC announced the dissolution of its bodies ahead of Saudi-sponsored talks in Riyadh, after suffering military setbacks against government forces in Hadramout and Al-Mahra

📌 Meanwhile, the Houthis continue to control much of western Yemen, including the capital Sana’a, which they have held since 2014
