• Storm Goretti continues to batter western France with violent winds. A gust of 213 km/h was recorded in Gatteville, Manche

• 380,000 households are left without electricity nationwide, according to the country's public energy supplier, with Normandy the hardest hit

• Rail operator SNCF said traffic was heavily disrupted this morning, especially in northern France, with around 300 incidents recorded overnight

• Flooding was reported in the Somme, particularly in Cayeux-sur-Mer, where marine submersion caused up to 40 cm of water in several streets

• The Interior Ministry reported that at least 6 people were injured due to severe weather conditions
