What have a learnt from travelling solo around Europe this year? Here are my top tips on what to prepare before you go!

AD. It is so important that you are with an insurance company that offers full cover abroad if you are planning on leaving the UK in your van. sterlinginsuranceuk have been my insurance provider for the last 3 years, they’ve assisted me through a breakdown at Christmas and insured me on all of my Europe adventures! And there 24 hour claims line team are so helpful and friendly. When I broke down last year the person I spoke to made sure I was waiting in a safe area, and knew exactly what the next steps were. 

I could rave all day about Sterling, because I really do think they’re a great option for nomads and anyone travelling to Europe. 

3. Wild camping tips 

4. Take it slow! (Really do take it slow, I don’t know why I keep trying to cover so much ground travelling, there are so many amazing things to see in small area, my NC500 trip was a good example of this, I stopped nearly every 20 mins! And even then there’s no need to feel the pressure of doing something adventurous everyday, sometimes the best days are chilling with a view or snuggled up in the van)
