A road trip to remember 🏔️

6 weeks: Dolomites, Switzerland, Germany 

This year was the first time I truly felt at peace with solo travelling, huge win! 

Regardless 6 weeks by yourself is a long time 😅 It was so fun to have people join me on this trip and break up the solo travelling. 

What did I get up to? Mostly swimming in lakes and hiking. Enjoying the most incredible views I’ve ever seen. I don’t think Roos ever walked so much in her life, she came back to the van and slept all evening 

The most challenging part? Parking. Campsites were few and far between in the dolomites and very expensive. Wild camping is  illegal, so car parks were the answer but these were also very expensive. In the week between lau leaving the Dolomites and Zac arriving, I took myself to some lakes in Germany and slept in a lay-by. It was still a good week, the lakes were incredible! 

Plans for next year’s road trip? Open to suggestions!
