At the Swim England National Awards 2025, two of our most prestigious awards were presented to Ron Philpot (Harold Fern Award) and William Johnston (Alfred H Turner Award) as the pair were recognised for their decades of service and outstanding contributions to aquatics ✨

💬 As he reflected on his lifelong volunteering, Ron said: “Volunteering has never felt like a sacrifice. It’s always felt like a privilege.”

And William emphasised the collective effort behind success. He said: “This award isn’t really about me – it reflects everyone who’s been part of the club and the journey.”
