The Mazzei Formula Five is a street-legal engineering marvel that creates an auditory illusion, tricking the brain into hearing a V10 Formula 1 car through the use of a bespoke 5-rotor Wankel engine.

Built upon a lightweight Superlite SL-C chassis, this prototype-style racer weighs just 2,400 lbs yet produces a staggering +1000 horsepower at the rear wheels.

Creator David Mazzei utilized his musical background to design a custom 5-into-1 exhaust header that harmonically aligns the engine’s firing order to mimic the high-pitched wail of the V10 era. 

To handle the immense power generated by the massive Garrett G57 turbo, the car utilizes a Holinger sequential gearbox, allowing for lightning-fast shifts that further enhance the racecar experience.
