❗️Nissan has transformed a humble city commuter into a track monster with the unveiling of the Aura NISMO RS Concept at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026.

By cramming the high-output e-POWER all-wheel-drive powertrain from the larger X-Trail SUV into a compact hatchback body, engineers have created a “super hot hatch” with significant performance capabilities.

This aggressive concept features a dramatic widebody kit that adds nearly six inches to the car’s width, alongside forged wheels, upgraded brakes, and a lowered suspension for improved handling. 

Currently serving as a technical study, the vehicle tests the limits of Nissan’s electric-drive hybrid technology within a small, lightweight chassis.
