Building upon its many accolades, “The Pitt” has added two goldenglobes to its mantle.

At the 83rd annual ceremony on Sunday, the hbomax series took home trophies for both categories it was in contention for: best drama television series and best performance by a male actor, for Noah Wyle.

The series’ first season cleaned up at the Emmys in the fall, including three major wins.

After the win backstage, Wyle answered questions about the show's decision to spotlight Pittsburgh. Ultimately, he said, the Steel City felt representative of the country as a whole.
