#TBT The University YMCA. The U of I’s first student union. The birthplace of Illinois Homecoming. Illini Hall played many roles over the past century.

Illini Hall will be replaced with a world-class facility for learning, innovation, and discovery in the mathematical sciences. The project also includes the modernization and restoration of Altgeld Hall. Increased capacity and modernized learning spaces will benefit all Illinois students who study in both of these buildings.⁣
