within the context of the full project i have been thinking of andrew's piece as the centerpiece of the endeavor. andrew's piece manages to summarize the works that come before it, capturing in a snapshot many of the best elements of those pieces, while also foreshadowing the finale (isaac's piece to be released soon). 

as i try to often say, i'm extremely thankful for andrew's collaboration. andrew's been so helpful in improving the guitar rig, doing the recording stuff, sharing his pictures, etc. but also i really value the time we've spent working on the piece. twdnm has been a living document, undergoing many revisions and evolutions to reach what you hear on the recording. in fact, i've never performed the piece in the form it's in on the record. in both his art and in our relationship i very much value his deep commitment to honesty and integrity, and his willingness to help make this piece very special. through this process i've gained a collaborator, colleague and friend i hold very dear.
