for the first time in at least 5 years i practiced electric guitar today!!! as i prepare for some projects for @duocharango which will feature a lot of music written or arranged for this friend i figured i better get reacquainted

a) chromatic-ish scale with alternative picking
b) some sort of arpeggio thing with alternative picking and then sweep picking (yes the guy with a degree from conservatory knows what sweep picking is lol)

general observations: using a pick felt more comfortable than i thought it would be. i thought i would feel like a newborn giraffe learning to walk. playing the electric guitar is a very different physical experience on my back, neck and shoulders than playing the way i have been all these years. will have to figure that out. finally, i need to find my cable so i can use my amp *
