on this #techniquetuesday our sweet prince sheldon and i are doing a technique that was never once taught to us during music school: relaxing! contrary to what the boring capitalistic cog that is music school tells us it is ok to take time to do something you enjoy! in the middle of this season with many concerts and competitions that involve a lot of different pieces in addition to doing school and having jobs it’s healthy and good to make some time to do things you like that have nothing to do with productivity. for me that means watching every barcelona game i can and trying my best to not feel guilty about it.
