They reinforce white supremacy by presenting inequity as ‘just the way things are’— the result of individual choices rather than systemic practices. Which has led some to declare that there is no discrimination in classical music. But there is. We Black, queer, Latinx, trans, bi, Asian, and Indigenous folks know this.”
