As we're getting ready for the 5th Anniversary NextNotes Showcase Concert in June, we're highlighting  our NextNotes composers from the past 5 seasons! First up is 2015 winner Quinn Mason:⁣

"Since NextNotes, I've been receiving more and more commissions and performances of my music by prestigious performers and ensembles, among them a commission for a full length orchestral work for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. I've been continuing my education in composition at Southern Methodist University (SMU). I've also decided to embark on a conducting career to not only lead the great masterworks, but seek out and champion the next generation of great composers, with special emphasis on underrepresented demographics."⁣
