I’m officially switching from long form videos to these punchy IG videos!!! I failed to realize I needed growth before I can really get any engagement on the long form videos! So let’s start nice and easy with a pickled red onion recipe!!! Use this recipe for anything you want to pickle and throw in your own spices, you can do no wrong!!!! 🤓

Pickled onions are bright, punchy, and the best way to level up your plate. I throw these on everything from meaty meat meals to rice bowls and (tres golpes).

Here’s how I make mine:

Quick brine:
1 part water
1 part white vinegar
Pinch of salt and sugar
Cumin and oregano to taste
2 garlic cloves (add after packing the jar)

Slice red onions into long strips, pack them into a mason jar, drop in the garlic, pour in the hot brine, and let it cool to room temp before sealing. Store in the fridge and use it all week.
