In this exclusive breakdown, Oscar-winning cinematographer Claudio Miranda joins ‪@MAKEARTNOWCHANNEL to reveal how the film was shot in the middle of live F1 events—with real cars, real drivers, and real crowds, captured as the action unfolded.

Rather than relying solely on post-production, the team leaned into practical, in-camera storytelling. With over 2,500 VFX shots layered into a $280M production, the challenge was blending large-scale spectacle with a raw, cinema vérité approach.

That’s where DJI Ronin 4D came in. Its all-in-one design—integrating a cinema camera, 4-axis stabilization, LiDAR focusing, and wireless monitoring—allowed the crew to move fast, stay unobtrusive, and shift seamlessly between cinematic coverage and documentary-style moments.
