The Florida Gators have released Jaden Rashada from his letter of intent, meaning the prized quarterback recruit is free to sign elsewhere.

jadenrashada, the top-rated dual-threat QB recruit in the 2023 class by 247 Sports, had decommitted from Miami to join Billy Napier's team in November. 

It put an end to a recruitment that reportedly went sour due to a botched Name, Image and Likeness deal that totaled $13 million offered by the Gator Collective, a third-party entity that furnishes NIL deals for Florida.
