~Post Season Reflection: The NFL is a world a lot of people don’t understand but at the same time it’s a worldly place to be at. People constantly telling you who you are and who you are not. This includes fans, coaches, players, media, & society. “You’re just a 6th rounder” “You’re just a special teamer” “You’re not big enough” “You’re not fast enough” “You’re always in the right spots” “You’re very lucky” “You’re not very athletic but somehow covering the best guys and always around the ball” “ You’re ______” 

~ The person who is the biggest culprit is the person you look at in the mirror every morning.  That’s where you win and lose. The world tries to mold you and tell you who you are daily. It puts labels on you to determine you’re value in the eyes of the league or the world. I learned on a deeper level that I win because of two choices. 

1. Deciding to choose God daily. Every second, every minute, win or lose, great game or terrible game, Healthy or Injured. WHATS DESTINED FOR YOU IS DESTINED! 

2. I Choose You! The battle is not on the grass but the battle within yourselves. I fought labels from the outside world my whole life. The NFL is the hardest labels to crack. If you let it guide you it will move you where it sees fit. But when you always choose you, FIND PEACE WITHIN YOUR JOURNEY then the universe will make room for who YOU believe you are! 

Keep fighting the fight! I don’t value anyone else’s label but ME AND GOD! Just do you and be present thru it all!
