Wednesday February 22nd, 2023 7:15pm  University of Windsor HK Room 143,  join us for our 4th Border City Athletics Club  #SummitSeries of the year. We are excited to welcome our very own Dr. Krista Chandler.  Dr. Chandler is specifically going to address "Building Mental Toughness and Creating Winning Routines for Athletes" in her presentation. Dr. Chandler has been a Faculty member at the University of Windsor  since 1999, specializing in sport, exercise, and performance psychology. In addition to her teaching and research (specializing in imagery and mental skills training), she owns and operates a consulting business, The Mental Link, in which she works with individuals striving to enhance their performance through the use of mental training. Over the last 25 years, she has worked with both able-bodied athletes and athletes with a disability at all levels of sport, from recreational through to the Olympic and Professional level.  She worked with Swimming Canada  as the lead sport psychology consultant for para swimming from 2005-2012. She has also worked with individuals in other performance domains including OPG (Bruce Power and Darlington) candidates, firefighters, police officers and musicians.
