Andy Reid and Nick Siranni have history before Super Bowl 57 👀

In 2013, Andy Reid had just been fired by the Eagles. But Reid didn’t spend much time unemployed before he was hired by the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs were 2-14 and on the staff that year was Nick Sirianni. Sirianni was the Chiefs’ receivers coach.Reid already had a receivers coach in mind, David Culley. Culley spent all 14 seasons in Philadelphia with Reid.
This meant that Reid had to fire Sirianni and let him know there was no place for him on the staff.

Although Sirianni didn’t appreciate being fired and moving his family from Kansas City, Sirianni found a mentor in Frank Reich.
Just eight years later after being let go from Reid’s staff, Sirianni landed the head coaching job in Philly. Even though they never coached together, Reid and Sirianni have mutual respect for each other and their coaching abilities.
