Eco-conscious Traveling Tips 🌍⁣⁣

Traveling by plane hurts my soul, but if I am traveling for work or to see my family, there are many things I do to keep my trip as environmentally-friendly as possible.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
To start, I love to stay at @1hotel.centralpark - the most plant-forward and sustainable hotel I’ve ever been to. There are thousands of living plants throughout the hotel and so many of the finishes are made from reclaimed materials. There are also little nudges in the room to remind you to conserve water and lower your footprint during your visit⁣⁣ 👏🏼
⁣⁣
After brushing my teeth with my plastic-free @bite toothpaste tablets and bamboo toothbrush, it was time to get dressed. The sustainable OOTD of the day was a thrifted T-shirt, @madewell jeans, the new @allbirds plant leather pacer and a super dope vegan + solar powered watch from @solios.watches ⌚️⁣⁣

Before heading out, I always make sure I have my travel essentials like my @nimbleforgood portable charger, reusable silverware and a tupperware for leftovers and snacks for the plane ✈️⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The stylemaker panel for @betterhomesandgardens was a huge hit, and I even got to spend some time exploring my favorite parts of the city. I took a morning walk through Central Park and then hopped on the subway down to the High Line! Yayy public transportation 🚇⁣
