This State Park has so much to offer…
•
First, ✌️critical items: 
•
When adventuring outdoors let’s ‘Leave No Trace’, and explore the outdoors sustainably — removing trash, not trampling on vegetation, and sticking to durable surfaces 👍. 
•
One of the best parts of this area is there’s something for everyone! Whether you explore the trails, or check out the fun GHOST TOWN across the way! 👻 
•
LOCATION & HIKE:
•
📍Superstition Wilderness - 45 min. from Phoenix, Arizona 

🗺️ Lost Dutchman State Park 

💰 $10/vehicle - $3/person if walking or on bike

🥾: Flat Iron via Siphon Draw Trail - 5.5 miles & 2,700 elevation. NOTE: even the first mile of this hike offers beautiful views and is more fam friendly. Going to the top is a challenge! 
•
TIPS: Bring more water than you think you need, AND, download the digital map on alltrails. We met two groups who’d started early and lost track of the trail 😯. 
•
👋 When in doubt—ask a ranger at the Visitors Center for current tips or concerns of flash flooding. We were glad to get the ‘go ahead’ as it had recently rained 👍. 
•
🥾 Last but not least - if you’re goin to the top, be prepared to scramble! 
•
