Oahu, Hawaii is pricey 😬 — and these free experiences helped us stay in budget (our goal was to spend close to $1,500 for everything, for two!).

🛑 SAVE these experiences for your Hawaii Adventure! 
•
🏄🏾‍♂️ Bonzai Pipeline- awe inspiring and totally treacherous — on Oahu’s famed North Shore you can watch some of the best surfers in the world ride 30+ feet waves (in Winter!).

TIP: arrive just after sunrise for easier (free) parking and avoid crowds.

🌅 Enjoy sunset at ‘Sunset Beach’ - also a great spot to watch surfers in winter, and snorkel in summer 🐠.

🤩Hike to the Makapu’u Lighthouse:
On a paved winding path that’s fairly accessible for all (2 miles total). At the top are epic views of Oahu!

🏖️ Experience Lanikae Beach: named one of the world’s most gorgous beaches (last frame!)

🥾 Hike! Oahu has some of the most epic trails we’ve ever experienced, and all were free to acces! Stay tuned for 4 trails we loved.

🐢Spot giant sea turtles at Laniakea Beach, aka, Turtle Beach! 
TIP: visit turtles at LOW tide. Unfortunately we visited early, at high tide, and missed out - but it’s still a stunning beach!

🌴 Botanical Gardens: with winding trails and sprawling gardens to picnic! 🧺
