Snacking is one of life's greatest joys! #AD While it can be easy to go overboard, I'm learning that by making small changes and smart swaps, you don't have to deny yourself the snacks your taste buds crave. It may not always feel like a fair trade-off at first but after some experimenting with healthier options like HpHood Cottage Cheese, even those all-time favorites start tasting just as good - maybe better!

We recently revamped some of our old go-to snacks to make them more nutritious!

Apple Cinnamon Cottage Cheese Bowl - I used to love Vanilla Yogurt with apples, honey, raisins, and cinnamon. For this first snack, I swapped the vanilla yogurt for Cottage Cheese.  Did you know Hood Country Style Cottage Cheese has more protein than hummus and less sugar than yogurt? This snack combo was so delicious and was loaded with more protein than vanilla yogurt could provide.

Everything Bagel Seasoning Pepper Poppers - I used to love bacon and cream cheese peppers. However, they were loaded with calories. To make this a better swap, I used Hood EB Cottage Cheese to fill my peppers. Then, I added an additional sprinkle to the tops of each. They turned out to be so fantastic!

Cottage Cheese Toast - Everyone knows what avocado toast is but how about Cottage Cheese Toast? For this hearty snack, I mixed Italian dressing, and Hood Cottage Cheese to make a flavorful spread. I added it to zero-sugar rye bread and topped my toast with tomato, red onion, and microgreens. Boy was it so good! So much flavor and protein!
