However, they also play host to a former employee, Hewlett Tarr, who was murdered during a robbery while working at the ticket booth in 1933. Thought of as a "friendly guardian angel" by Curran employees, Tarr only becomes angry when visitors forget to turn off their phones or unwrap loud candy wrappers during shows. On your next visit to the sf_curran Theater, keep an eye out for Tarr, who is said to appear in the reflection of the lobby mirrors. #HauntedSF
