LET PEOPLE THINK YOU’RE CRINGE!! 😝 Did you know that my on-camera hosting job at Travel Channel came as a direct result of the “cringeworthy” travel videos I posted on social media? 

And that my “little travel videos” laid the foundation for the future on-camera hosting and content creation gigs I was able to get with media giants like Condé Nast, Matador Network, Yahoo, and NBC?!

As I come up on the 7-year anniversary of leaving my “good job” as a secondary school teacher to pursue a career as a travel content creator and on-camera media host I couldn’t be happier with how far I’ve come.  And to think that it all started with posting my “embarrassing” travel vlogs, blogs, and photos online!

So many of us don’t go for what we really want because people convince us our dreams aren’t valid or realistic. We’re also haunted by internal and external voices convincing us that we’ll fail.  But— to paraphrase the popular quote— darling, what if you fly?
