#HumanitiesHighlight: Meet Sydney “Sunny” Cathcart, a communication major with a cognate in diversity who is putting creativity into action during an internship with The Children’s Museum of the Upstate in Greenville.

From supporting museum programs to helping with outreach and communications, Cathcart is honing skills in creative problem solving, intercultural relations, public speaking, and teamwork—all while gaining hands-on experience in a lively, fun environment.

“This internship has given me a reference for what a communications job might look like and allowed me to focus on career-relevant experience,” Cathcart says.
