Making wholesome choices when eating is easier than ever when you shop hannafordmkts. #AD Their Guiding Stars program makes eating healthier easy, and affordable! I love how they have taken all the guesswork out of making wise grocery decisions with this intuitive program.

All Hannaford store brand products are labeled with 1-3 stars based on the food's nutritional value. 1= good, 2= better, and 3= the best option. It was fun to be mindful during my latest grocery shop to hunt for the best options with the most stars. A few of the recipes I created this week were Fruit and Yogurt Parfaits for snacks, White Bean Salad for lunch, and Mediterranean Hummus Pockets for dinner. I was pretty successful in choosing ingredients that were nutritious to make my colorful meals.

Ingredients:

2 whole Pita bread pockets 
2 TBSPS. Taste of Inspirations Original Hummus 
2 TBSPS. red onion 
1/4 cup tomato 
1/2 cup sliced cucumber 
1 cup spinach 
1/4 cup Taste of Inspirations Feta Cheese 
1 1/2 TBSPS. Hannaford White Wine Vinegar 
2 TBSPS. Hannaford Light Tasting E.V.O.O. 
1/2 tsp. Herbs de' Provence

Directions:

Cut pitas in half and add a thin layer of hummus to each. Fill pockets with spinach. In a small bowl, toss tomato, cucumber, onion, and feta with herbs, oil, and vinegar. Add to the pockets and enjoy!
