“Coming to Marshall University was one of the best things that happened to me in 2019.  As an international student, I had difficulties adjusting to the American culture and of course the weather. The moment I reached out to Dr. Marybeth Beller in the department of political science, she welcomed me with open arms and was always there for me throughout my journey as a graduate student and even after graduation. I will forever cherish and appreciate her help and motherly advice.”
