The Academy Is... have announced the details of their first new album in 18 years. 

'Almost There' will be released on March 27 via I Surrender Records and is the follow-up to 2008's 'Fast Times At Barrington High'. It also serves as a counterpart and accompaniment to the band's 2005 debut, 'Almost Here'.

They had this to say about the record, stating, "Almost Here was the beginning. Almost There is the reflection. It’s about being alive in this moment, checking in with who you thought you’d be, seeing what changed, what stuck, and what still feels like home.”
