Eagles general manager Howie Roseman was once again asked the question during the team’s end-of-season news conference with head coach Nick Sirianni.

The Eagles would take a significant cap hit by trading Brown, who has had the best years of his career in Philadelphia and helped the team win the Super Bowl. Brown voiced his frustration about the offense numerous times in the 2025 season and was the subject of trade rumors at the deadline.

“It is hard to find great players in the NFL, and A.J.'s a great player,” Roseman said.
