Connor McGregor was the richest athlete of 2020. According to Forbes, he earned a total of $180 million throughout the year, $22 million of which came from his fight to Dustin Poirier. He was higher on the list than LeBron James, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo.⁣
