The University of Southern California recently partnered with creative industry J1S to create BLVD Studios, an in-house creative lab to help student-athletes with the coming advancements of name, image, and likeness (NIL) next year.⁣
⁣
All of this is made possible because of The Fair Play and Act Bill, which California governor Gavin Newsom signed back in September. The bill will allow California student athletes the right to earn money from their NIL. BLVD will come into play to help athletes build their brands and maximize their market value. USC even posted a hype video online, but quickly took it down as it was deemed untimely.⁣

Who else is more than ready for the remaining states to adopt NIL legislation??⁣
