Six time NBA All-Star and former Seattle Sonics player Shawn Kemp is opening up his own cannabis shop. Called Kemps Cannabis, Shawn is partnering with two industry veterans on the endeavor and has a 10% ownership in the store.⁣

The store, which features a 30-by-80-foot mural showing Kemp playing basketball in his Seattle Supersonics uniform on the side of the building, is the city's first Black-owned dispensary. Their grand opening was earlier today, where Kemp was joined by fellow SuperSonics legend Gary Payton for a ribbon cutting ceremony.⁣
