Russell Wilson recently signed a new contract making him the highest paid player in the NFL. He's already putting his money to good use by investing in the people that protect his greatest asset, his body. Wilson reportedly splurged 156k across his 13 offensive linemen as a gratitude to their service and protection. (via @tmz)

1. Gifting assets instead of material things
Russell Wilson could have got his teammates new flat screens or the lastest headphones but ten years from now when they have all upgraded those material things imagine what this stock will do?

2. Group Economics
Russell Wilson understand the concept of team dynamics. As a leader and teammate he knows he couldn't have done what he did without the linemen protecting him. Recognizing that he made sure to make sure his team would feel a win as well. In business or sports, no one man or woman gets the job done. Even in tennis or golf, you have a coach, trainer, caddy. In order to continue to succeed you have to keep the partners around you motivated and happy
